Yes. It is requirement that you keep your car fully insured at all times and we require sight of your insurance certificate, on or before entry. Do not expect your conventional insurance policy to cover your vehicle in storage. You need to inform your own insurers that your car is now in secure storage with Abbey Classics, Lower Mills Unit, Buckfast Abbey, Devon TQ11 0EA. We hold a fully comprehensive motor trade policy to cover all of our responsibilities in respect of customers’ vehicles whilst in our storage care which also includes road risks. (Customers vehicles driven by us)

Yes. To protect the battery from draining, any car in storage should be connected to a trickle charger. You are welcome to use your own trickle charger, subject to suitability. We recommend the CTEK trickle chargers, we think they’re the best.

Yes. We can arrange maintenance, repairs and MOT’s for your vehicle through our network of trusted partners, who will charge you directly for the works. We can also arrange to have your car delivered to your own service people if required.

Yes. We have some excellent people that we work very closely with who can transport your car anywhere in the UK or Europe – covered or flatbed transport, whichever you prefer.

The minimum storage term is 2 months. However, we do sometimes have the availability for some short term storage.

Rates are charged per month including arrival and collection date. The first invoice will cover the minimum storage period of 2 months. After the 2 month period, invoices are issued on a monthly basis. Payment terms are strictly 7 days from invoice.

Yes, we cover every car with a soft indoor cover. These are also available to purchase from us, if required.

Yes, this is part of your membership! We start your car up once a month, bringing it up to operational temperature and check functions.

Yes, we have a dedicated storage area for motorbikes.

Our normal hours are Monday, Friday, and Saturday between the hours of 1000am and 1400pm.

In the interests of all of our customers and the safety of their vehicles we require 48 hours notice to remove a vehicle from storage. However, we know sometimes that things happen last minute so will always do our best to accommodate you.

Yes, we do this through our carefully chosen and nominated partner. This is available by prior appointment and is generally carried out on a Monday.

Treat us like your club! You and your guests, can enjoy our ‘members lounge’ where you can relax whilst watching TV and enjoying complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. We have both male and female washrooms.

Yes. We hold regular events for members and guests, which are normally held at Turtley Corn Mill, Avonwick. Other events are also held from time to time.

Located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, Buckfast Abbey is home to a community of Benedictine Monks and is one of the top tourist attractions in the Westcountry. Founded by King Canute in 1018, Buckfast Abbey was at the heart of the community until Catholic monasteries were dissolved by Henry VIII. Visitors can enjoy the wonderful grounds and gardens, The Grange Restaurant and the Abbots Way Café and The Exhibition Centre. Dogs on a lead are welcome and there is also a hotel on site. Entry is free.
