Abbey Classics is an exciting new business founded by classic car collector John Harrison, based within a brand-new 16,000 sq ft facility at Buckfast Abbey. (www.buckfast.org.uk)

We’re looking for a part-time Event Planner to help shape and grow our community of classic and prestige car enthusiasts. Reporting to the Managing Director John Harrison.

About The Role

You’ll be responsible for organising and developing a range of events including:

• Weekly ‘Coffee, Natter & Cars’ mornings

• Car shows, motor club meets, and owners’ lunches

• Corporate and private hire events, making use of the Abbey’s on-site hotel, dining, and conference facilities

You’ll have the freedom to bring fresh ideas and your own initiative to help grow Abbey Classics’ events calendar from the ground up.

About You

• Background in event planning or coordination

• A genuine interest in classic or prestige cars (ideal, but not essential)

• Confident, organised, and self-motivated

• Part-time position with flexibility

• Salary will be dependent on experience plus profit sharing in the new event business.
