Abbey Classics offers specialist car maintenance and servicing from our dedicated workshop, supporting classic, modern, hybrid and electric vehicles.
The workshop is led by Robert Chalmers, Principal of RGC Motorsport, a highly skilled master technician with over 12 years’ experience in the automotive industry. Robert is qualified to Level 4 in Motor Vehicle Diagnostics and Repair and is currently completing a BSc (Hons) in Motorsport Engineering.
With a strong background in motorsport and classic vehicles, Robert has worked as a team mechanic in the TCR Touring Car Championship, securing the Gen 1 Championship title with Rick Kerry and EDF Motorsport. He also supports the Caterham Academy and has completed a full season in the Classic Super Tourer paddock, alongside supporting classic vehicles at the Silverstone Classic.
Workshop services are available by appointment, covering a full range of servicing, maintenance and diagnostic work, delivered with the care, precision and respect expected from Abbey Classics.
